On the occasion of the exhibition of l'atelier (2005) by Jean-Marie Biwer in 2005 at Camp de Base, the Musée d'art moderne Grand-Duc Jean presents C'est comment de l'art ? A publication resulting from a collaboration between the artist and a | part, which extends the painting, by particularly detailling it, while coming back to painting as a historical practice. The extracts reproduced are details of the painting, annotated on each page by the painter. Like comic strip speech balloons, the handwritten questions dot the extracts of the image and give voice to the artwork.
