MUTATION II is a contemporary art exhibition catalogue, addressing itself to an international museum and gallery public.
The exhibition Moving stills, seeks to develop a reflexion on the medium of video, through the exploration of the productive relationship between the moving image and the still one.
The characteristic shape of the DVD case is used as cover and guides through the pages, like a book in the book. The catalogue, by its appearance, announces very directly the theme (video) and the DVD on the last page. Artists: Peter Aerschmann, Elina Brotherus, Gast Bouschet & Nadine Hilbert, Ange Leccia, Cristoph Brech, Olga Chernysheva, Ori Gersht, Tuomo Rainio, Jutta Strohmaier et al.
